Kasper Knigge was from an age of six trained as a percussionist on instruments such as: Drums, Congas, Pausks, Vibraphone, Marimba, Crash and a lots of more. From an age of 12 he started playing concerts in a big band regulary. Following his interest in various musical genres he was playing both classical, pop, rock, reggae, jazz and more and toured Europe with different now a days unknown bands throughout his teens. Due to a damage of his right hand caused by overly intense practice he stopped playing at the age of 20 and began art-studies and travelling. However, in 2006 music re-entered his praxisfield and he has since then finished two albums and formed the band Writins Ovrload.
Born in Essex, England, Josh began to teach himself the piano at the age of 14 after discovering the work of Ludovico Einaudi on Classic FM. Two years later, he had composed and released his first solo piano album and began performing his works internationally. Over the next few years, Josh released two more piano albums, as well as began experimenting with other styles and working on many projects (including writing for short films and video games). Now living in Berlin, it should come as no suprise that over the last year Josh has moved away from his instrumental style to focus on electronic music. Josh's combined background of soundtracks, classical and electronic music makes for an interesting melting-pot of ideas, creating music full of idiosyncracies and distinct character.
